Valeriy Kostrykin - biography and works

Parents

The father of the future writer Arkady N., comes from the Novosibirsk region, a native Siberian. During the great Patriotic war he served in the Navy. Received numerous military decorations. Our hero's mother, Lyudmila Iosifovna, born in the town Fastiv, Ukrainian. Maiden name her Daugert. The family did not linger long in one place. Valeriy Kostrykin her parents went to polar Vorkuta, then in the Altai Krai, and later to Kazakhstan. As a result, the family was back in Ukraine. Later our hero parents moved to Belarus. Education

Valeriy Bastrykin studied in the Belarusian high school. He entered the philological faculty of Baku state University named after V. I. Lenin. Chose the Belarusian-Russian Department. After graduating from University (in 1975) he taught Russian language and literature at the village school. Valery Abramovich of Kostrykin was a correspondent for the Republican newspaper «dawn» publications for Teens and children. Was promoted to senior editor of programs on Belarusian television. Also worked on creation of the Republican children's magazine “Swing”.

Literary career

Valeriy Kostrykin began to create works in school years. In 1968 he published the first work in the Belarusian edition of “rainbow”. His children's stories have been regularly published on the pages of local magazines and Newspapers.

The Book "tales of the forest glades” has already been updated several times. It was published for mass circulation. In 2003 the book was released in Kiev in the Ukrainian translation. Together with Vladimir Tsvetkov was created three works in the genre of science fiction: “the Time Travelers”, “Fantastic Odyssey”, “adventures in the valley of the Five Winds”.

In 2013, the publishing house «Buckmaster” came the 16 books of our hero. They all came in a series of “the Forest full of wonders’. Among them were such works as “Burkina mountain”, “person”, “Green notebook», «Tale of soma This”, “awakened Michael”, “Colusa-perkosa”, “Pike-aggressive”, “what is singing cricket”, “Fears of a hare Pellets”, “Solar flower”, “Yulkin gift”.

The Author has continued to work with the same publisher. Due to this, in 2012–2014 out gift series «Tales about animals”.

The works of our hero were published in many collections. His stories and tales were translated into Serbian, Polish, Ukrainian and Belarusian languages. Our hero from 1980 member of the Union of journalists. Lives in Minsk. Since 1995 member of the Union of Belarusian writers.
