Volapük is an artificial and has long been a dead language

We have already established that volapük – an artificial language, but how and on what basis it arose? Let's start with the author-priest who was a native of Germany, therefore, all his life spoke in German. His goal was the creation of a certain prototype of his native speech and writing, but with some adjustments, which, in his opinion, would simplify the whole picture.
