Biography
Daniil Trifonov, a biography which starts in March 1991, was born in Russia, in city Nizhniy Novgorod. The boy was born into a musical family, and this may have determined his fate. Great-grandparents Daniel sang and, in addition, engaged in the Assembly of accordions. Grandma directed the choir. Mother – teacher of music theory, dad – composer. In his youth Oleg Trifonov even fond of punk rock, but in adulthood switched to another, more serious music.

Early successes

In 2011, Daniil Trifonov has become the winner of two international music competitions. In may, a pianist named a laureate of the International piano competition of Arthur Rubinstein. In June of the same year, Trifonov won the International Tchaikovsky competition, receiving gold, the audience award and the prize for the brilliant performance of the Concerto with a chamber orchestra.
