Firstly, these products have a distinctive design. Secondly, they differ in strength and durability, which have long been appreciated by many buyers. Thirdly, only in Turkey the carpet weaving technique called "Turkish double knot" is used. Fourthly, all carpets differ in appearance, which depends on the region where it was created and the manufacturing technique. Carpet connoisseurs know that the most famous weaving centers in Turkey are the Kayseri, Hereke, Konya and Kula regions. Kayseri produces handmade carpets made of wool, cotton, silk and even with the use of a fiber resembling viscose in composition. And in Herek, Turkish carpets with long pile or short pile are made on the basis of natural silk, which is supplied from Bursa. It is noteworthy that each product consists of a million knots, made with all care and accuracy.
