Today, the transportation industry developed very much. Every day around the world travel thousands of trucks that carry the trailers, tanks, body and so on. However, there is a type of trailer which deserves a separate mention, as it is very different from the rest – both in the mind and method of use. And it's called a trawl. This is the kind of trailer that allows to transport heavy equipment.

What is a trawl?

Many people are not too familiar with the terminology of cargo, so they all driven trucks – trailers. This is actually the correct answer, but not quite accurate, because trailers come in a wide variety. Well and completes the classic three heavy trawl, which is able to carry a load up to 110 tons. But what about the fourth type of trawls, which was spoken of earlier? To this type are special extra-heavy modules. They can fit a load weighing more than 110 tons, while they are used for special transportation of indivisible loads. These may include, for example, a space rocket, whole ships, or even buildings. In this case, low sweep can also be called a platform, it is usually much more than the usual trailers on the square, cumbersome to use, but incredibly effective.

By loading height

Low sweep – the phrase that people can hear fairly often, even if they are not involved in activities of transport. The fact that the trawls may be classified according to the loading height, so on that, at what distance from the earth is itself a platform on which to carry cargo. There are two main types – vyakarana and low. In the first case, the height of the loading platform above the ground is approximately one meter, and the second – from 85 to 95 centimeters. The difference is not too high, but in some cases it can play a very important role. Type of suspension

Number of axes

A lot depends on the height of the platform, as on high platforms oftenonly used two or three axes, sometimes you can even see four. But the lower the platform, the greater the number of axles – at particularly low trawls can be found even seven or eight pieces. But you can be sure that never will meet one axis, as this would violate the balance, which is very important to trawl.
