It is used mainly for measurements (for example, on maps and plans), convenient application of such conventional signs on working documents as restricted zones, flood or fire zones, areas of radiation, biological or chemical contamination, placement of various kinds of weapons and equipment. Also, the officer's ruler allows you to mark highways, column paths and special routes on maps. In addition, you can use it to create any graphic images, plans and diagrams.
