Global environmental problem today affects almost every corner of the world. Promotion of pollution nature – is one of the steps to preserve the environment. To this end on 15 April is celebrated the Day of environmental knowledge.

For the First time the proposal to create a similar celebration was made in 1992 at the world environmental conference in Rio de Janeiro. The UN as the organizer of this Congress focused attention on the environmental issues of the time.

In the end, one of the points of this conference was the creation of a new holiday-the world day of environmental knowledge. The day of action appointed for April 15.
