Glazovsky feed mill, its development

In the late 70-ies and 80-ies in the Udmurt Republic began to gain momentum such branches of agriculture as poultry and livestock. In this regard, in the region there is a need to feed. To solve this problem, we included the construction of a plant for the production of animal feed. And by 1986 was launched Glazovsky feed mill (GKZ). At that time its capacity was about 700 tons of products per day.

History of establishment

In 1979, construction began on the plant. In 1984 launched the first Elevator, which was produced mixed feed. The design capacity allows the plant per day up to 735 tons. The bulk of the products Glazovsky feed mill sold to poultry farms, collective farms and pig-breeding complexes of the Udmurt Republic.

In the early 90s due to the negative economic situation in our country, many agricultural enterprises have lost their ability to pay. Following this, the plant significantly reduced the volume of production and was close to bankruptcy. From 1996 to 2000, SRC was idle without a job. So, in 2000, it had produced only 2 tons of feed. In the same year was released the first batch of protein and vitamin Supplement with minerals. The volume of output was only 4 tons. The main purpose – testing. This experiment proved that the company “Glazovsky feed mill” is one of the promising enterprises of Russia in this direction.

Since 2007, SRC entered into a holding “KOMOS Groups”, and now works under his leadership. “KOMOS Group" consists of 12 businesses that produce food in the Perm region and Udmurt Republic. This 5 poultry factories, 4 milk processing plants, 2 large pig-breeding complex and 1 feed mill. They are the largest in their segment of the agricultural market in the region.

Veterinary science - 2010» nomination «Feed».

For several years Glazovsky feed mill is recognised as the winner in the Russian competition of high social efficiency in the nomination «For the development of the labor market in industrial organizations”.
