Description of the Saratov hydroelectric power station

Hydroelectric power plant is the seventh in the Volga-Kama cascade and is located in the city of Balakovo, in the North of Saratov region. 24 hydraulic unit with a capacity of 1378 MW allowed in 2014 to give the country 5504,6 kW·h of electricity (productive supply). History

Upgrading of turbines

Reconstruction of the hydroelectric power station involves the installation of turbines of the new generation. Pre-designed project provides a fundamental change in the structures of the impeller, which will supply blades S and an actuator located on the bottom.
