Firstly, two- and three-liter cans will fit for sterilization in the oven only one at a time, and some high containers cannot be placed in the small space of the microwave at all. Secondly, the electricity consumption in the household will increase, and you will have to pay more.

Before sterilizing the cans in the microwave, they are thoroughly washed with ordinary soda or dish detergent. They do this even with clean-looking containers. After that, it is necessary to rinse them well to remove all remnants of detergents. All containers with chips, the smallest cracks, visible contamination must be rejected.

Sterilizing cans in a microwave is quick and easy, and carefully prepared dishes for blanks are the key to long storage and high quality pickles, jams, compotes and marinades.
