Wide flat spaces, wild field, overgrown with flowers and herbs – that's what the steppe. Is the acres of vast land, breathing freedom, calcined summer heat, windswept or frozen winter cold. Rugged river beds, as free as the soul of the Russian people, wild steppe praised in folk songs. Admired her, loved her, took care of her. In the modern world a little undeveloped human spaces. A little later, in early June, it is spring colors is replaced by a bright palette of colors, summer time – the spaces covered with blue forget-me-nots, red poppies, irises, yellow tansy, wild peonies. July – time of flowering purple sage. In the second half of the summer the steppe is white, covered with meadows of daisies, clover and meadowsweet. In the hottest time of the year when the sun is high and dries the ground, and it rains rarely, steppe like an endless scorched canvas. Here and there among the faded stems of the grasses, waving the gray strands of grass. When the hot sun finally “work” over the vast expanses, to dull, parched and cracked ground roll balls of tumbleweed.
