Flower red Anthurium. Maintenance and care

The Original and very beautiful flower Anthurium (red) is quite capricious plant. Its contents in the home will require a lot of work and care. This plant, which came to our shores from tropical America, has a luxurious deep red flowers with yellow spadix inside. They are located above large smooth leaves.

This plant likes heat, however, the contact sheets of the sun's rays can be harmful. It feels good in flat-light and even in partial shade. The most favorable would be a placement in the North-West or the East side. Red Anthurium flower does not tolerate drafts and temperature changes (summer – not below +18° C in winter, +15° C). The plant needs constant watering. However, you should pay attention to the fact that the substrate time to dry between irrigation at 1/3 of the height of the pot. Flower Anthurium (red) likes a loose, slightly acid, coarse substrates consisting of components with relatively large particles. At the bottom of the pot it is recommended to put a layer of drainage to avoid standing water. The substrate must be well keep the flower, to preserve nutrients, moisture, easy to leak air and dry. The best option may be a mixture of bog moss, coarse deciduous earth and turf.
