Epistolary communication, i.e. the exchange of letters, there are more than a thousand years. The need for communication with loved ones living far away, people wrote letters, first on parchment or papyrus, then – on paper. Formation of correspondence began in the sixteenth century, but particularly popular this has become in the nineteenth century, when each country has acquired the postal service. People began to exchange extensive messages, which are described in detail their thoughts and feelings. From these messages happened epistolary genre, named after the Greek word “hair” - “letter”.
