Developing Countries in the Global Economy

The Development of society in economic terms is a complex and multidimensional process that involves major structural changes in the economic situation of countries and reflects the improvement of people's quality of life.

There is a classification of countries in the global economy, according to which there are developed countries (Sweden, Japan, USA, France, Germany, etc.), developing countries in the world economy (India, Brazil, etc.) and countries with economies in transition (countries of Central and Eastern Europe, former republics of the Union,  Vietnam, China, Mongolia, etc.). These groups of countries in the world economy are characterized by the General parameters and patterns of development.

Economic development of individual countries is quite difficult to measure, is  not a straight line. It is characterized by an irregular alternation of recessions and periods of growth, qualitative changes and quantitative changes; positive and negative trends.

The appearance of different countries is affected by the features of their historical development. For example, a feature of the development of Latin America and Africa is mixed. She is due to slow change of the relations of production, which was one stratum of the social and economic structures  on the other, the new to the old.

Developing countries in the global economy  today differ from developed deficiency of his fortune in the economic and social aspect. Their underdevelopment reflects the state of the economy, characterized by low level of industrial development of economic relations.

This is defined in terms of GDP per capita, the GDP, the level of development of science, state of the art, quality and productivity etc.

Developing countries in the global economy  is characterized by two aspects: the historical (which manifests itself in the lag of one type of social development from others) and modern (demonstrates the low level of development of countries in the current phase).

Developing countries in the global economy have common specific problems of economic and social development, for which need special approaches, different from those used in industrial developed countries.

Developing countries in the global economy, have specific and in foreign trade relations. Due to the low level of production and agrarian-raw materials specialization of these countries is focused on  the industrial States of the West. Hence the relations of economic subordination towards the latter. Such relationships are characteristic of different kinds of relations that establish and support developing countries with the developed economic, political, or ideological sphere. The degree of subordination (dependence) varies with changes in the state of the international economy and of social and economic development of these countries.

Developing countries, in fact, differ from the developed industrial and social structure of the whole of their society. They are, as a rule, has not yet formed a strong and sustainable civil society and strong desire to keep the principles in the community.

The Social structure of these countries was formed in the system of different civilizations and different socio-cultural content.

Developing countries today is the global production is quite modest place. They account for only about 18% of total world GDP and about 13.6% of world industrial production.  Most of these countries is rich in human and natural resources.

The level of per capita GNP developing countries are divided into countries with a high (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore), middle (Africa) and low (Tropical Africa) income.
