To find an objective standard: what are the methods of work

The Regulation of labor in the production allows to objectively establish the correlation between the volume of work and its payment. The volume of work can be expressed in the form of completed work, number of the equipment serviced, number of employees, time of execution. The basic used in practice, methods of work analysis and experimental statistics. Under analytical method: normalized process is broken down into elements, then selects all the factors influencing the duration of execution of each item (organizational, physiological, technical, social, economic); modeled optimal composition of process and sequence of its constituent elements, taking into account the best combination of factors influencing their duration.

Experimental-statistical methods of work (total methods) involve the definition of standards for the entire scope of the work without analysis of its constituent elements. Experimental method is applied in case of determination of norms on the basis of personal experience on the valuation, statistical - based on actual costs for similar work previously. Melon methods of work are not scientific, since the development of norms does not provide an analysis of the actual conditions of labor.

Choose one or the other method depending on what you will use the results of the valuation. After all, labor standards is a tool used to achieve the goal, so the cost of it should correspond to the final result. For example, if you want to give a one-time production task, it is sucient to use the standard time or production of the same work. And, conversely, to develop standards that will be used for a long period of time and (or) for mass production, it is better to apply the analytical methods of work.
