Control as management function

All the management functions are interrelated and may exist separately, they are characterized by the specific nature and content, are carried out using special techniques and methods. Usually distinguish the following groups of functions: organization, motivation, planning, control.

Functions of the organization is based on uniting people and resources in order to achieve certain goals. To organize the process in two ways: to divide the organization into divisions in accordance with the order or to delegate authority.

Planning Functions brings the basis beneath all the other functions, because it justifies and gives a notion of what should be the goals and objectives of the organization, and that  you need to do to achieve these goals. Existing types of planning: strategic, tactical and operational.

Functions motivation – a complex of measures to ensure the motivation, the motivation of staff to achieve the goals.

Control as a management function has two directions: the control used to correct deviations from the plan or the plan itself, and monitoring, used to assess the obtained result. Control the organization achieves goals and contributes to the normal functioning of the enterprise. Control as a management function is used for the prevention of crisis situations, with a total of uncertainty and dynamic environment, to maintain success(allows to compare the results and targets).

For the timeliness of the implementation of the control can be strategic, operational and final. Strategic control involves the specific procedures, rules, tactics and policy.
