Zaporozhye state medical University-is a multidisciplinary higher education institution of IV level of accreditation with the right to Autonomous control. The institution is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine, where people can receive quality medical education.

Of the history

In 1903 in Odessa was created the Higher women's courses. Since that time the history of the current University. In 1959, the institution of Odessa was transferred to Zaporozhye, where he was given another name - Zaporozhye pharmaceutical Institute. In 1964, when it opened the medical faculty, in which there is both day and correspondence forms of training. In 1969, the institution received a new name – Zaporozhye medical Institute. Prior to 1972 at the medical faculty was held day and evening students. In 1972 was inaugurated faculty on training foreign citizens. Second medical faculty

First pharmaceutical faculty
