Political regime – this method, according to which the political system in the state. It shows the methods, which is the power in the country, is characterized by the participation of people in political life, and that is very painful in this thread, the overall political freedom in a particular society.

A Totalitarian regime – it is, above all, the wholeness, the totality of control. All aspects of society are under the control of the authorities, flourishes absolute consistency in selection policies between the government and the society (actually because the first right of choice), so the state looks solid, not fragmented by diversity of opinions and positions.

Sefolosha expression: “Silence – agreement” – a natural position for totalitarian regimes, even in cases where third-party opinions are not voiced, not because they are not, but because they are not allowed to Express. No wonder this saying originated in a state that the first in the world received the antagonist totalitarian regime – democracy.

History and basic characteristics

The Totalitarian political regime – is a phenomenon that first emerged in Italy. D. Amendola described exactly the system, installed Mussolini what Italian fascists hastily agreed and even popularized the concept.

  • Absolute control over society.
  • Power becomes centralized form and is in the hands of a small number of people.
  • Enhanced power control actions of citizens.

Totalitarian political regime and communism

Totalitarianism clearly manifested itself in three forms: communism, fascism and national socialism. The idea of communism was partially implemented with the formation of the USSR. Here public mode appears to be primarily in the form of equity. It was supposed to reach a global scale and be economic, social, ideological. The idea of communism was first formulated in the writings of Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx, and the attempt to implement it took Vladimir Lenin.

Communism is characterized by all features of the totalitarian regime, including the allocation of racial characteristics and unity, though somewhat veiled: “a single Soviet people". Since the aim of totalitarianism – to replace everything in this series is the religion. At that time it was forbidden to visit churches and temples, and the icons are replaced with posters of Lenin, and then Stalin, who has continued and strengthened this already inhuman system.

Totalitarian political regime and fascism

Here is a vivid example for this is Italy, which was ruled by Benito Mussolini, which was implemented this way.

The easiest way to organize fascist totalitarianism in the countries experiencing the economic crisis, and this took a separate group of Italians in the 20s-40s years of the 20th century.

Here was clearly expressed in the radical division of society into "higher” and “inferior”, contrary to the ideas of communism.

For a characteristic of fascism, traditionalism, expressed in the acceptance of tradition as a core value, and aggressive militarism and warlordism. Mussolini really was a leader, always uttered a fiery emotional speech, implemented severe censorship and supported Germany in her military, and other immoral acts that led to his death. He was supported by Winston Churchill, believing a great politician.

Totalitarian political regime and national socialism

Another form of totalitarianism-national socialism, or Nazism. In this endeavor by Germany, whose people gave power to Adolf Hitler in 1920, who managed to combine in his insane ideology of anti-Semitism, racism and fascism. Here totalitarianism is based on the idea of racial characteristics of the nation (social Darwinism), which is strangely intertwined with the liberation of his race for living space in Eastern Europe (although the Germans, and the Nazi interpretation – of the Aryans, was not so much to not fit in Germany); also because of this ideology resulted in mass destruction of representatives of the Jewish nation, because Hitler thought that they are trying to take over the world and their appearance bears the features of inferiority. This is a very ephemeral theory, at the moment, scientists believe that it was not a goal but a means, invented by reason, motivated by the unbridled desire for power, which is based on the psychological problems of the former Fuhrer.

National socialism, fortunately, ceased to exist in this global manifestation, and the modern world rejects his ideas and direction, considering this phenomenon is a big mistakehistory.
