The Theme of freedom is clearly seen already from the young age of the great poet. The atmosphere of the Lyceum, where Alexander spent his younger years his life has deeply influenced the beginning of the formation of his entire creative path. It is here that he has placed in the heart of the notion of freedom, about the power and importance of it in human life, high on life principles. It was here that in 1815 he wrote his first freedom essay "Licinius". In this small poem he reveals the story line, which is based on the fate of Rome. Ancient history was always interested in the poet, and especially the theme of faith and slavery, which was particularly relevant in ancient times.
In addition, early work is marked Pushkin's ode "Liberty", which was written in 1817, a hundred years before the revolution in Russia. Already here was particularly full of freedom-loving Pushkin's lyric. The essay "Liberty" is a statement to the world, the call for freedom, equality and brotherhood. He mourns that the world is living wrong and continues to go the wrong way, and encourages everyone to go to freedom, starting to live differently.
At the Lyceum Alexander studied until the 1920s. All the years of teaching he continued to take shape as the poet-Decembrist. It is the ode "Liberty" the first freedom-loving Pushkin's lyric poems which encourage the oppressed to rise up against their oppressors. In this ode to the great poet refers to the singer freedom to odurenija his inspiration, and then stands against tyranny. He remembers martyrs, innocent victims, and makes readers tremble at the injustice of this world.
In 1918, the great Russian son wrote a poem "To N. Ya Pljusovoj", who was a lady-in-waiting of the Empress. In this short poem, the poet revealed to the readers his political Outlook of those years, which is characterized by freedom of thought. This poem is another piece where manifested the freedom-loving Pushkin's lyric. A summary of this short, but so succinct in the meaning of the poem - its appeal to other youth. The call to shake off the bliss of youth and pleasures, to renew the soul for freedom and to devote my life to the Fatherland. This is a personal message to a friend, which actually turned out to be a political call. Now Chaadaev's not just a friend of his youth, dividing his entertainment, and colleague and collaborator.
The whole poem breathes the spirit of patriotism and revolution and ends on an optimistic note: symbolic of the rising of the star, which tells about the victory of the spirit of freedom in the struggle against inequality and oppression.
This poem Alexander wrote in 1819, while still at the Lyceum, after a trip to the village of Mikhailovskoye. Freedom-loving lyricsPushkin found a huge reflection in this two-part poem.
The First part is very harmonious and describes the beauty of the Russian countryside, its nature, scope. It is in these places really inspired the poet, and beheld beauty. Everywhere discern the beauty of the village, where the poet spent so much time. However, the second part of this poem is not as serene as the first. Here the topic of slavery of the Russian people, serfdom and oppression. He compares the people "skinny" and gentility of the "wild". It is felt that the soul of the great poet is torn, unable to find peace. "Here is a painful yoke to the grave all involve", - reads the row, and in the end the question remained unanswered: "you will See, o friends, people growth?"
The year 1923 was a year of crisis views and beliefs of the poet. Any revolutionary and liberation currents do not justify his hopes and expectations, disappointing him. That's why freedom-loving Pushkin's lyric these years, already has changed significantly. The first piece, reflecting new views of the poet, was the poem "the sower of Freedom in the wilderness". In it, he refers to peoples who have adapted to the conditions of unfreedom and slavery. Also in the lines of this poem slips a new understanding of freedom, namely, material. He realizes that age is cruel, "peaceful Nations" are satisfied with minimal material goods, and it also depresses him.

His poem "Arion" - a prototype of the uprising, in which he confirms their free views. He believes that the cause of freedom will win and "heavy chains will fall."
Alexander is a fighter by nature, has always been in the reflection. In the late twenties, he turns to a new kind of freedom - freedom of creativity. This, he also dedicates some of his works. It is important "poetic freedom", which separates him from those who do not in this sense. If you follow the "inspiration of the Muses", we can achieve this goal. This line is clearly seen in the poems "the Poet", "Poet and crowd".
Freedom lyrics of Pushkin is undergoing a revaluation of values in the years of maturity of the poet. The image of freedom takes on a new form, namely, appears as inner freedom, personal. He refuses volnogorsky former revolutionary ideals, preferring the quiet and peace of soul. In 1834 in the poem "it is Time, my friend, it's time!" he writes that on the earth there is no happiness but there is peace and freedom. In 1836 Alexander writes a poem "From Pindemonti", which again refers to a new vision of freedom, which is far from the ideals.
In the same year the great poet, wrote a poem "I am a monument erected without hands", which seemed to have summed up his creativity. This work is considered his last statement: "What I have good feelings aroused lyre, What's in my cruel age I praised freedom And mercy for the fallen".
