Many of us have heard about dominant and recessive genes – some hidden in our genome the sequences of nucleotides that are responsible for inherited traits. How do they interact? Such coloring is obtained by crossing red and white flowers, and although the red pigment is dominant, it drowns out the allele responsible for white coloring. And produce unusual two-tone flowers with the AA genotype.
