A solemn occasion it was decided to revive only after eight decades, and this event contributed to the order, signed in 1996, Admiral F. N. Gromov. According to the document, the Day of the submariner, Russia should celebrate every year on August 19 by organizing on this day, various celebrations for military personnel and their families.
