Is there a threat to the child's life? Yes, if the water drains without contractions, then it can be dangerous. Here are a few options for the outcome of events:

• The uterus will decrease in size and shift slightly. And this can affect the normal course of labor.
• If the child is without amniotic fluid for a long time (after all, there is oxygen in it, which the fetus breathes), hypoxia may begin. And such a condition is harmful to the brain and nervous system and can threaten the life of crumbs.
• In most cases, labor activity slows down after the outpouring of amniotic fluid and may even fade away altogether.
• When the integrity of the fetal membranes is violated, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms from the external environment can freely penetrate to the fetus. There is a risk of infection.
• When the amniotic fluid is poured out, placental abruption and disruption of the fetal nutrition process can occur, which can be dangerous.
