It is already impossible to count how many diverse studies have been conducted studying the positive impact of classical music on the psychological, emotional and even physical development of a person. Classics for children are especially useful.

classics for childrenIt is important to know how, when and for how long it is better to listen to music. First of all, it matters how far the source of the music will be removed from the child. The minimum distance should be one meter. Do not overdo it with the volume of sound, it should not exceed the volume of ordinary spoken speech. Experts recommend listening to the classics 1-2 times a day for 15-30 minutes. Calm compositions and lullabies are included for 5-10 minutes after the baby eats, and faster, energetic music – 5-10 minutes before feeding.

Music is a part of our life. She is everywhere: in the cinema, on holidays, in the car salon — you can continue indefinitely. Moms and dads use musical rhythms to calm or cheer up the baby, engage in the game, show their love and care. This natural tool can positively influence the development of the child and improve his social skills.

The use of music

Children express themselves through music at an early age: swaying to the beat of the melody, jumping, moving their handles, singing their own songs.

It's easier with music:

<
  • Learn new words and use them in speech
  • Share feelings and emotions
  • Develop motor skills (in dance)
  • Listening to your favorite tunes contributes to the production of the hormone dopamine, a neurotransmitter, which in everyday life is often called the "pleasure hormone". It is responsible for memory, concentration, attention, and as soon as its amount grows in the body, a person feels a sense of satisfaction. Apparently, this is one of the reasons why music is an important part of world culture.

Nevertheless, these recommendations are general. Classics for children are extremely useful, but it is important that the music is liked by the child himself, corresponds to his emotional state and mood. If you notice that the baby is starting to get tired of the music, it bothers him, irritates him – it's better to change the composition or stop the listening session altogether. It is possible that on some days the baby will not be set up to listen to classics at all, and on others, on the contrary, he will enjoy music accompaniment for hours. Observe his behavior and try to create the most comfortable conditions.

There is a whole science – music therapy, which studies how the sounds of various music affect a person and, in particular, how useful classics are for children. Of course, even the youngest listeners have their own taste – you will notice that the child likes some works more than others, and under others he becomes moody, irritated. However, in general, depending on what effect you want to get, the choice of compositions will also depend.

What to include for kids from one to three

The request for music during this period is dance and fun, repetitive rhythms, lines that will train the baby's ability to memorize. Try to turn on a familiar song and sing along to it, replacing some word: the baby will surely laugh.

Older kids love songs in which they are asked to do something "raise their hands, stamp their feet", and they also really like songs about familiar things, animals, people. As practice shows, many children at this age "enter" and "adult" music that their parents listen to.
