Starominskaya Village is located in the North of Krasnodar Krai. This is one of the first settlements of the black sea Cossacks. The village has a long history. She has developed, was occupied by the Germans and partially destroyed. Like a Phoenix, revived the settlement, again to be forgotten.
Starominskaya (Krasnodar Krai) The village was founded in 1794. The settlement became one of the first 40 kurens of the black sea Cossack troops. The village got its name from the village of Maine, situated on the Desna river. At first the settlement was called Maskim, then it was renamed into Minsk. Eventually, in 1842, hut gained the status of villages. So there Starominskaya.
In 1802 in the village there were 15 houses. Gradually came to a permanent place of residence of the Cossacks. In 1869, the village began to acquire clear boundaries. The city became the largest in area. Started to share on margin.
Near the village was built two railroads. First, from the formation to station Sosyk, appeared in 1809, and a year on W/e way I went first compositions. The second railroad came from Kushchevskaya to Ekaterinodar. Stanitsa Starominskaya became a major railway hub, and it accelerated the development of the settlement. After the revolution, in the spring of 1920, the village was established Soviet power. Began active territorial and administrative changes. In 1926 in the village appeared first newspaper. Gradually growing districts and farms. In 1928 the largest was a “Plant” and “Lenin's way”. In 1937, after the appearance of the Krasnodar territory, the area began to refer to the Kuban. In 1939, in the village of Starominskaya worked in 17 schools, the same red corners and clubs. Opened folk DK. Appeared 24 libraries, three reading hut and a cinema. It was opened 25 stores, two food tents. Earned private power station. In Starominsky district, worked for four doctors and 20 paramedics.
During the great Patriotic stanitsa Starominskaya empty more than 12 thousand people who went to war. During world war II in the area killed more than 7,000 people. From 1942 to 1943 the village was occupied by German troops. This area had suffered tremendous damage.
Since 1946, began to build farms, to build the production, stepped up the construction. New comfortable home. Began to flourish the farm. In 1950 was built the first hydroelectric turbine, and electricity. In 1952 in Starominskaya stanitsa opened a vocational school that trained machine operators.
In 1958 in the area, new villages. Started to operate the first road with asphalt. Appeared bus. From 1962 to 1966 was a restructuring, and the village Starominskaya ceased to exist on maps as a separate territorial unit. Then, the district joined the Leningrad.
Today the village – this small, modest town. It has only a few businesses that provide essential goods for local residents. There are large farms, railway station. There are five schools, a boarding school. Has its own Palace of Culture. Function music, art and sports schools. You can find a cinema, a polyclinic and several banks.
