The Village Seversk Krasnodar territory – the administrative center of Seversky district. It is located in the South-Western part of the region, on the left tributary of the Kuban-the river Ubin. From Krasnodar can be reached within 34 km from Novorossiysk – 110. Through the village passes the highway Krasnodar-Novorossiysk, there is a railway Krasnodar-Krymsk. History

The Territory between Brzezinski and Shokalskiy posts, occupied detachments of the Seversky regiment. From may to June of 1863 the regiment began to attack the highlanders. To prevent this could only create a post for control over the area. The construction involved in the Dragoons regiment of the reserve squadron. June 22, 1863 the construction of the post was completed, it was named in honor of the builders Seversky. Later on the place of the abolished post was built village, called Seversk.
