In the beautiful Ferghana valley is located in the Ferghana region (Uzbekistan). This is one of the most ancient and beautiful parts of the country. There is a large ancient cities and small villages with traditional lifestyle. Fergana region makes a significant contribution to the state's economy and is of considerable interest for tourism.

Geography and biology

In the heart of Central Asia is Uzbekistan. Ferghana region is located in the southern part of the Fergana valley and is one of 13 administrative-territorial districts of the country. Its area is 68 km². The region occupies a flat area with a slight elevation above the sea level to the South-East. The valley presents all kinds of landscape: it protects the Altai mountain range, while the Northern part is occupied by steppes. The region is rich in water resources. History of settlement
