Historical facts

Victory Park (Sevastopol) was founded in 1975 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the great Victory over the German invaders. In its creation, along with the civilian population of the city, was attended by black sea fleet sailors. Even students of schools, colleges and universities has made a contribution to the improvement of the Park.

However, in the crisis period of the 90s funding was suspended and resumed only in 2002. The city has been allocating funds for the improvement and maintenance of the parkland.

Three years later, Victory Park (Moscow) has flourished and has become a well-known place of recreation for residents and visitors alike.

In 2009, the Park was reconstructed. Monument was erected to St. George, updated benches and trash cans, new lights with shatterproof shades, the amount of green space has increased significantly.
