But with the appearance of Roger and begins a cartoon! From the first frames we see a stray cat, who yawns, jumps on the window and staring outside. Here occurs the fateful meeting with Uncle Feodor, a cat who pours out his soul, says scant biographical information, including the story and that the attic repaired, and the cause to live the poor animal nowhere. Compassionate boy takes the cat to him, but his mother is totally against such act, which makes Uncle Fyodor to leave home.

Short story

Will the fate of newly made friends were in the village of Buttermilk, where to surf and even a local dog nicknamed Bead. The company found a vacant house where healed together and have fun. With them constantly had some funny situations, but friendship always wins. All anything, but the boy's parents were worried, even filed a note in the newspaper about the disappearance of the son and of the reward to the one who will find it. And in the village lived the postman Pechkin, who dreamed of Cycling, and therefore was glad I was able to provide a service to parents Uncle Fedor and get what you want. Events unfold in a most favorable way, and now after some time the boy's mother life is not without Buttermilk, and Sylvester has shown himself as an adult and able to take care of near the character.

What else can I say about this purring character? After the cartoon became popular, the cat Matroskin from Prostokvashino and Oleg Tabakov became associated with each other. This cat is a symbol of childhood for a generation. And today the image of this colorful character went far beyond the cartoon.
