The film "father of a soldier": the actors, the roles, the plot and interesting facts

Soviet films about the war belong to the imperishable classics that people are reviewing with pleasure decades after their release. Among them a decent place is a well-known film “Father”. Storyline

He went to the front as a volunteer when he was sixteen. During hostilities, the future writer was severely wounded. As the protagonist of the film, his father wanted to visit his son, but on arrival at the hospital did not catch it. This story and told Zhgenti in their script for the film “Father”. The actors also brought to life his idea, and Sergo Zakariadze played the role of man, whose prototype was the soldier that side by side was a war writer.
