The Astrakhan drama theater: history, repertoire and troupe

Astrakhan drama theatre was founded in the early nineteenth century. Today his repertoire includes performances of modern playwrights and the classics.

History

12 Dec 1810 first performance saw Astrakhan. Schauspielhaus, photos of the building which is presented in this article was opened on this day. In 1986, the drama theatre (Astrakhan) was awarded the order of «badge of Honor”. A year later, was closed for restoration, which lasted 7 years. At this time, the troupe was forced to wander in strange scenic sites. But that did not stop the team to delight its audience with new productions.
