He grew up in a simple American family soap making. In 10 years, Benjamin begins working with his father in the workshop, and after some time moved to the printer. That's where he starts his legendary career. Since childhood, Benjamin Franklin had shown great interest in science, it deals with the study of languages, biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics.

In the 17 years he decides to move to Philadelphia, where he continues his work in typography. And after a while Benjamin starts his own printing business, where he worked as an author and publisher of such periodicals as “the Pennsylvania newspaper” and “poor Richard's almanack”. At the same time, he remains actively interested in politics and science. Franklin creates a theory of electric phenomena, founded the first U.S. public library and Academy of Philadelphia invents the lightning rod, explores the Gulf stream, invented a lamp for light, efficient furnace, etc.
