But it is not so difficult, but if you have to cook the filling or frosting for cookies, decorate it with candied fruit - the children's delight there is no limit and mom who knows how to cook really yummy, will seem a child's fairy-tale fairy.

Today we will not discuss the recipes and learn to make icing for cookies, because a good sweet can work wonders: it makes everything you bake, giving it the missing sweetness, keeps it fresh and hides all the flaws of the production.

How to make frosting for cookies?

Decide what types of glaze very much, we consider the most common:

  • Basic sugar fondant cook sugar and water, the components take in the ratio of 1:0,75. Sugar dissolved in hot water, stir, clean the walls of pots of caked sugar with a wet cloth and put on a strong fire. After boiling syrup, remove the foam, again wipe the walls of the dish, cover it with a lid and cook until the sample on a soft ball. At the end of cooking add 5 drops of liquid citric acid for every 100 g of sugar. To measure acid need exactly when it is overly sweet whipped badly, with a lack of – secretariats.
  • Basic icing for cookies is easily transformed into a pink, for this at the end of cooking, add a half tablespoon of rum;
  • For more protein fondant icing sugar whipped with the protein in a water bath for 5-7 minutes, then remove from heat and continue to whisk for another 7 minutes, 1 protein take about a quarter Cup of powdered sugar. Ready icing coated cookie after it has cooled. This decor is also suitable for Easter cupcakes;
  • Cup of powdered sugar pour into a bowl, pour 2 tsp of milk and grind until mushy state. Pour in a mixture of 2 tsp of syrup you can use corn or inert. Beat until the mixture will become smooth and shiny. If the composition is too thick, in the process of whipping add a little bit more syrup. You can use white brush, but you can divide it in bowls and tint with different food dyes. The baked product was dipped in a glaze for cookies or spread it with a brush;
  • To make vanilla icing you need a Cup of powdered sugar mix with vanilla and 4 tbsp of boiling water. Grind the mixture with a wooden spatula until a homogeneous paste;
  • Dark sugar glaze for the cookies (butter) prepared from sugar and 20% cream (they need to take a Cup), 2 large spoonfuls of cocoa powder and 20 g. of butter. All the ingredients a good grind in one lot and cook in small saucepan on very low heat until thick.
