Home hockey returned in 1997, becoming the player native of Moscow «Dynamo». Together with the club he reached the finals of the Euroleague and Cup of Russia, but after one season left the team. But Dmitry never forgot his homeland. At the same time actively developed the hockey club «Barys» here. the team Leaders decided to invite in a team of experienced veteran who started out inKazakh hockey, and called Dmitry. Frolov took the offer «Barys» and won with him the First bronze League.

Coach

In 2011, began coaching former defender «Dynamo». The first team Frolov became the club of Youth hockey League “knight”. A few years later he continued working as a mentor to other youth teams – “Atlanta".
