History

To create a pistol Grand Power K100 Jaroslav Kuracina (the head of the company and chief designer) broke in the early 90's. the Inspiration for this project he received from the old pistol Steyr M1912, but rather by the indicators of the fight and impact. Almost three years went to study the model and search of the enterprise, which could make the prototype. The prospect of the establishment of its own production of Coracina then no wonder. Incidentally, the guns of the family to this day are produced at the facilities of other factories.

The First prototype appeared in 1997, he received the index of the Q2000. The gun was manufactured in Považská engineering plant. After a series of tests, the design has received some fine-tuning. As a result, in 2000 at the IWA show in Germany presented a new model with the index K1. Immediately after that, the gun underwent a number of minor modifications. This time he got the name Grand Power K100. This model became the basis for a number of modifications, which will be discussed below.

GP T12

In 2010, the model T10 has received several improvements. The upgraded gun is called T12. The main difference between the models – the caliber of ammunition. The Main difference of the model from K100 P1 is reduced, the length of the barrel and the casing of the shutter. With 108 mm barrel decreased to 93 mm. Thus, the total length of the model was 188 mm instead of 203. USM and closing the breech remained the same, with the exception of some dimensional parameters. The shape of the rear sight was slightly modified and the received fluorescent fly rod.

In addition to the original model P1 produced two versions with some differences. The first of these – P1 Ultra. In the barrel and the casing of these weapons has 14 holes.
