First place began to take a club “Schalke 04”, which was supported by Adolf Hitler himself.

But “Golden age” came soon. Since the late 60-ies of the team began to acquire that reputation, which successfully supports and today. The club began to participate in the elite German League (in the first they won the third place), and then – in the Cup winners ' Cup (where players got the first place), the championship of the country in the Champions Cup.
