Early years

The Future artist was born in the capital of Azerbaijan - city of Baku in 1928. The boy grew up in the family of ordinary party worker Seymour and his wife named Sona. The talent of the young artist began to manifest at an early age. When the father returned from work, he set in domestic competition for the best portrait. That's when Tahir first became acquainted with the brush.

Salahova lived and did not know sorrow until 1937. Then there was a terrible. The father was arrested by the Soviet authorities. Teymur has accused as many as four articles and was sentenced to the Supreme penalty - death. The order was carried out in the same year, and the family lost their head of the family, and the small Tair - father. To recover the pure name came only in 1956, during Khrushchev thaw. Then Teymur Salahov was cleared of all charges in connection with absence of structure of a crime.

Education

Tair Salakhov in 1950 he graduated from the Azerbaijan art school. The young man had planned to get higher education and enter the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after Ilya Repin. However, there the artist was disappointed. However, in 1957 all Salakhov has graduated from the Moscow state academic art Institute named after Vasily Surikov. Tair studied on a specialty painter. Further activities

In 1964, the artist becomes a member of the Communist party of the Soviet Union. During the 1963-1974 years Salakhov Tahir Teymurovich teaches at the Azerbaijan state Institute. Perhaps one of the most famous works of the artist - the painting is titled "You, the humanity!". Tair Salakhov wrote it in 1961. At the moment the canvas is kept in the National Museum of art, which is located in Baku.

History of writing works pretty interesting. Tair Salakhov decided to paint a picture according to the internal dictates of their own souls. However, the picture was too big. For this reason, the artist was forced to leave his shop and work near the school. Tair Salakhov presented his work on public display in April 12, 1961. Most interestingly, on the same day it became known about the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space. It is for this reason we can assume that the painting was "prophetic".

As stated by the author, he painted under the impression of the conquest of space. In the hands of the heroes of the paintings you can even see something similar to the first satellite. Many critics say the picture of the formalist. However Salakhov decided to send their work to the exhibition of the Union of artists of the USSR. Soon, however, in order to avoid scandal, the artist himself took his picture. After that, the painting was sent to Baku, where it is preserved to this day.
