The device of the asynchronous motor, its application

Asynchronous AC motor transformerait electrical energy into mechanical energy. Is the most common in the industry. The motor unit is quite simple, the work is carried out at constant current.

The motor unit. Consists of three parts: the housing, the stator and rotor.

The Housing serves as a protection for the rotor and stator from different damage and environmental influences. In it are mounted rigidly fixed part.

Stator-the stationary part of the engine. The main parts are: the magnetic circuit and base. In the frame of the engine is pressed on the magnetic core forms a stator (electromagnetic core). Due to the core produced a magnetic field that is rotational. An air gap separates the rotor and stator.

Rotor – the movable part of the electric machine.

The stator creates a rotating magnetic field and stationary. The starter itself is the core, made of steel, which is winding, is fixed in special grooves.

The Magnetic field crossing the windings of the rotor, forms inside the EMF. The result of this action in the coil flows a current which interacts with the magnetic flux. In the interaction of the stator magnetic field and current in the rotor and produces torque. The rotation of the rotor occurs in the same direction as the field, but with a small lag.

As a result of the occurrence of the electric energy from the network to the stator winding it is converted into mechanical.

The Number of pairs of advantages determines the engine speed.

The Device of the induction motor divides them into two types: wound and squirrel-cage rotor. They differ in the device of the rotor. The starting winding is a squirrel cage rods which are composed of aluminum or copper, and both sides of the rotor are closed by two rings. In a phase winding of the motor are connected by a “star”.
