Biography

Alexander Rappoport was born on 1 APR 1947 in a small Bulgarian town Kazanlak. During this period, the father of the little Sasha was an officer. Immediately after birth the family fled the country, settling first in Georgia, and then – in Russia, he settled in Leningrad. From early childhood the boy dreamed of becoming an actor, but parents were strongly against such a frivolous profession.
