To Write poetry in his youth, many are trying. Some even continue "to suffer" this and in adulthood, imagining himself a modern Pushkin was a talented and unmatched poet. But, unfortunately, not always what comes from the pen of the nuggets, you can call this poetry. Even if not to take into account the content of the verse, the poetic brightness of the images, it is often the technical side of the work leaves much to be desired.

cross rhyme

The Technique of versification

Important terms of the technique of versification are the size (the rhythm) and rhyme. Despite the fact that today there are a lot of subcultures, where the versification ignore the regularity and rhythm of the strings, completely abandon the rhyming even they fail. An example of this today is a trendy youth movement, called rap: youth is looking for its own ways of expressing the inner world. And those who can develop new trends in the art of poetry, and those who are a fan of classic poetry, it is so important to know what the rhymes are in the Russian language.

Cross-rhyme

Most of the poems is written in such a way that they rhyme in pairs the first and third lines, and the second and fourth. If when parsing stanzas arcs connecting the words rhyme, notice that the arcs will intersect, as if forming a cross. Because of that, this phenomenon is called "cross rhyme". Verse entitled ‘Reflections on the sea shore" will help on the example to carefully consider this method of versification.

rhyme cross-verse

Reflections on the beach

I do not – gulls cried.

And saying goodbye to the departed summer,

Not my name the light gave…

A Sea of them whispered the answers

Questions: ‘how are we to live?

How to survive, alone?

How not to see in all of the lies and deceit?

To Understand the soul, littered with

Stuff the pain, resentment and doubt?

As errors to be able to avoid

And from thousands of hundreds of decisions

True, the exact answer to find?”

But, tired of weeping, fell silent.

Gulls. The sea dream sank.

And responses, how in the hay a needle,

Not found, if not God's grace.

Masculine, feminine, dactylic verse and rhyme gipertoksicheskaya: General information

Here in each quatrain (a stanza consisting of four lines) used cross-rhyme. Often the poets are the quatrains in one particular poem writing, using one of several ways of rhyme: either all the lines end in stressed syllables (masculine rhyme), or all the lines have feminine rhymes, when the stress falls on the penultimate syllable, either one of the rhymed pairs of lines has a masculine rhyme, and the other couple – for women. A little rarer dactylic verse rhyme when a line ends with two unstressed syllables preceded by a shock. And very rarely you may come across hypermatrices (four or even patelarou) rhyme, when the shock syllable is followed by three or more unstressed syllables. Use the poem all the options at once - a rare phenomenon.

Masculine, feminine, and dactylic verse gipertoksicheskaya rhyme: parse example

In the previously presented example just traced masculine, feminine and dactylic verse cross-rhyme as the embodiment of the method of versification. For example, in the first and last quatrains are observed using only feminine rhyme in the second stanza the first and the third line connects the feminine rhyme and the second and the third – dactylic verse. The third quatrain is an example of the use of a combination of feminine-masculine rhyme. In fact here is expressed cross-rhyme scheme of abab, where a capital letter represents a female rhyme, and the lowercase – male.

circular cross-rhyme

Ring rhyme

As common as cross-rhyme, rhyme girdle lines. In this method of versification combines the first with the fourth line, and the second-with the third. As an example, encircling, and in another ring to the rhymes, you can use this verse of poetry “mom”

What can I do? Just this bit:

Kiss shriveled hands…

They Never knew boredom

Effort on the rest.

As you can see, there is rhyme in the first and fourth lines (little – remained), and the second and the third (hands – boredom).

Same as cross, ring rhyme may have the options male, female, and dactylic verse gipertoksicheskaya, and combinations thereof. Most often this type of poetry is used in sonnets and hardly ever – in Russian folk poetry. She first appeared in the 18th century, at the end of the period of syllabic versification. Watch it from Antiochus Kantemir in “the Letter II to his poetry”.

Steam rhyme in children's poetry

Talking about how adding verses, not to mention the steam room rhyme. Just like the ring and cross, a steam room rhyme is observed in Russian poetry quite often. This is probably the most simple, clear and accessible poems, that's why this is written the most poetic works for children. This includes tongue twisters, and counting, and many mysteries.

For Example, riddles inthe verses written by the pair rhyme:

It – hot steamer on the matter floats.

' it's so quiet-no wrinkles to be seen!

Or:

Long ears, a short tail,

In the cage he lives, furry and shy.

Famous poem about Tanya who dropped into the river ball, the author of which is Agniya Barto, just demonstrates the use of the steam room rhymes. And other poems, for example, about the bull, which is on the flank went to bed in a box, sleepy bear, lying in bed, and about the elephant, not wanting to sleep, nodding head and sending Hello to your elephant.

cross steam room rhyme

Onegin stanza

Usually, all the work the poet writes in one, im the chosen key, using either the ring, or steam or cross rhyme. But Pushkin Alexander Sergeevich was presented to the world the original version, which in his honor was named “Onegin stanza”, as it appeared in the first lines of the novel, “Eugene Onegin”. Onegin stanza consists of three quatrains and a concluding couplet. Here, in a poem Dating from the rhyme ring, steam room, cross. This method is alive and well today, and sometimes the authors of poetic works refer to him, brighter in order to Express their feelings and thoughts.

As example, you can take the poems “mom” completely, one quatrain which has already been considered as an example of a wrap-rhyme.

rhyme annular steam cross

Mom

I forgot why I'm at home,

Don't forgot the smell of the native.

Mom, I bought you roses!

I'm sorry, Mom, it's late…

What can I do? Just this bit:

Kiss shriveled hands…

They Never knew boredom

Effort on the rest.

And the eyes, once bright blue,

Watch with photo – pale blue…

Hair, luxury, beautiful,

Thinned, became gray…

You waited for me here on the doorstep -

Only I'm a little late…

When parsing the first quatrain, it becomes clear that the book involved a paired rhyme. However, it should be noted that we have used assonance rhyme in which consonant only the vowel sounds but not consonants.

Indeed, the word “home” and “native” at first glance quite difficult to call a rhyme. But the word “home” last unstressed vowel is in a weak position II, therefore, gives the reduced sound of «Kommersant». The word “native” the same sound is given the letter “about” in sardarni position. Similarly, you can hear the words “rose” and “later”. However, this rhyme is enhanced by total agree “z”.

The Second quatrain was considered above us: this is a girdle or ring rhyme. In the third quatrain uses the cross rhyme. And completes the Onegin stanza, as required by the selected style, the couplet.

This is a complicated matter – to write poetry. And yet to learn to pick the right rhymes, to choose the way of poetry, to observe a rhythmic pattern even robot. But to invest in the work part of his soul – on the shoulder is not for everyone.
