Mikhalkov's Works are short, concise and extraordinary expressiveness largely due to the fact that the poet from childhood and wrote in the best traditions of Russian classical literature. He grew up on the poems of Pushkin and Krylov's fables, works of Mayakovsky and Yesenin. No wonder, therefore, that the first literary experiments were very successful. In 1933 his works have been regularly published in leading national journals. One of the most famous works of this period – a poem "Svetlana".
Mikhalkov's Works enjoyed great popularity and love of readers, even before he published his most famous children's poem. Glory children's writer has strengthened the success of the new compositions – poem “Three”, which he wrote during his participation in the competition for the best pioneering song.
After that, the author decided to try his hand at another genre and started to create his probably most famous works-the poem “Mr. Rogers”. The image of the good, simple-minded giant, who at any time ready to help, just purchased the all-Union love.
The creation of the tetralogy known the poet left a few decades. After the war he published a poem called "Uncle Stepan - policeman" and two others. In which the main character, still the same good-natured giant, was gradually made more lyrical. Especially touching, perhaps, is part of the “Uncle Stepan and Egor”, in which the poet has introduced the image of the son of the main character.
Works Mikhalkov became popular largely due to its optimism, vivid and exciting language, as well as wisdom. In pre-war time, was published another of his famous poem “And you?”, which is shaped like the rhyme, but nevertheless imbued with a serious philosophical meaning and sound.
Another characteristic feature of creativity Mikhalkov is the fact that he often created characters who were not always able to be a role model. On the contrary, quite often it is the images of their characters ridiculed the weaknesses that are inherent in children: laziness, effeminacy, coarseness, boasting. Many of his phrases were so shrewd and witty that has become proverbial. His rhyme is extremely simple and literally remembered from the first time (for example, his famous “song of friends”, which is known probably to every child).
During the war the poet worked as a reporter, he visited many advanced, received a number of awards for bravery. His war poetry, as the works of Twardowski is very simple and easy language, reminiscent of the folk songs that once made her popular. Among works of this period include, for example, the poem “the Soldier is for huts…”, “a Letter home" and others. It is noteworthy that this poet belongs the epitaph on the tomb of the Unknown soldier.
In mid-1940-ies Mikhalkov on the advice of the writer Tolstoy decided to try a new genre-the writing of fables (he's loved since childhood Krylov). His first works in this genre was a great success. He wrote about two hundred fables, which entered the Golden Fund of Russian literature. The poet also became a script writer of some well-known Soviet films, one of the most important – Comedy “Three plus two” is loosely based on his plays.
The Peculiarity of the poet is that he very well knew how to Express very serious and deep thoughts, while entertaining and instructing. Such, for example, his poem “Sasha's mess”.
Books Mikhalkov still huge numbers diverge in our country.
