The state system of the Russian Federation and its Federal principles

Any state aims at the effective management of its own territory, including political, economic, cultural and social interaction of the centre with regions. The state system of the Russian Federation, one of the most important tasks of which is to preserve the integrity of a huge multinational state based on democratic constitutional principles of federalism.

These tasks are achieved not only by the organized centralized control mechanism, but also clear organization, structuring of the territories themselves, the regions and Autonomous districts. And division of the entire state into its component parts, taking into account regional particularities and various cultural-social and religious conditions of each individual site. National-state system of Russia, logic, consistency and reasonableness of the legal provisions enshrined in the articles of the Constitution, to a large extent contribute to strengthening mutual understanding between the various nationalities of the country, their unity, and also to improve the democratic system of relations of regions with the center.

The State system of any country is determined by many different factors: size of territory, population and national composition of the population, historical and cultural traditions, political regime, etc. international experience and practice so far developed two main systems of government organizations – unitary and Federal. Unitarianism is a one-piece and mono-shape with a single Constitution, laws, citizenship and the system of state governing bodies. Parts of the country, as a rule, are administrative-territorial units (units) without any signs and attributes of statehood.

The State system of the Russian Federation is a Federative form – the complex and branched structure of the territory of the country, composed of national education, called subjects of the Federation. Each of them has its own judicial, legislative and Executive power structures. The State system of the Russian Federation guarantee equal coexistence of many Nations within one great country and is an integral part of the territorial integrity of the state.
