The Main document, reflecting periods of professional activity of a person is a work-book. This is the official document that newly hired employee must present to the employer. Based on the information in the workbook is the basis of work experience.

Sixty-sixth article of the labour code imposes on the employer responsibilities for maintaining records for each employee, if the period of his professional activities in this organization exceeded five days. Such records are maintained in the individual work books. They make the following entries:

- for a permanent most of the work;

- the admission on a part-time job (if you have the desire of an employee);

- the admission by transfer;

- the period of service;

- about the time of the study in schools or at courses of improvement of qualification level or personnel training;

- the dismissal of an employee;

- the illegal bringing to responsibility under the criminal code.

The Entry in the workbook, dismissal, employment, etc. must be performed without cuts, gently. It uses a pen with a light - and water-resistant ink. Allowed to use purple, blue, black rods. The entry in the work book for dismissal is made on the last day of employment, on the basis of the corresponding order.

There is a user manual, which is Appendix № 1 to the Resolution of the Ministry of labor of the Russian Federation No. 69 of 10.10.2003 g. it provides guidance on completing the individual documents, covering the periods of professional activity. According to this documentation, the entry in the workbook for dismissal is made in accordance with the following procedure:

- the second column reflects the date of termination of the employment agreement;

in the third recording, the causes of the dismissal;

- fourth graph is used to specify the name of the document on the basis of which produced the record (order, decision, decree), and the date of its signature and registration number.

If the agreement with the employer is terminated on the grounds established in article seventy-seventh of the labour code, the record in the work record card the dismissal is made with reflection of the link that points to a specific paragraph of this article.

There Are cases when the employment contract is terminated at the request of the employer. In such situations, the entry of dismissal in the workbook is made with the appropriate paragraph of article 81 of the labour code, or with reference to other grounds provided by legislative acts.

The Instructions specified cases when termination of employment occurs for reasons that do not depend on the will of the parties. In such situations, the entry in the service record about dismissal contains a reference to a specific paragraph of the eighty-third article of the labour code.

When the contract of employment is terminated in the case of the additional grounds, provided by legislative acts, the end of the period of work in the enterprise is recorded in terms of this legal document.

Employment agreement may be terminated for reasons which provide a basis for provision of benefits or privileges. In these cases, the record of the dismissal must contain specific instructions data bases.

If the employee is transferred to another place of employment to another organization, the third section of the graph, which contains information about the work should reflect the implementation of this process (with the person's consent or at his request).

All entries that have been made in the work book during the period of the organization shall be signed by the employer or the person responsible for maintaining this document, and sealed with the seal of the organization.
