Maybe it will in any other case, but not with the festival. Most likely, Google will give complete information about the Peninsula, which the Ukrainian coast of the Black sea. And yet, where is Kazantip, the festival, which says the whole world?

What is “KAZ.”

Almost all the media call this phenomenon “the festival Kazantip”. But the organizers and participants against such a determination. They argue that a more appropriate name “Republic of Kazantip”. And let no one be confused by the fact that this country is not found on any map and the life in it boils in just a month.

Birth KAZAntipa

Two decades ago, windsurfers organized competitions at the Black sea coast in the town of ShChelkino on the Kazantip Peninsula, where there is an abandoned unfinished nuclear power plant. Participants (78 persons) came to support 600 fans. The then President of the club of windsurfers, and now President of Kazantip, to set the mood, organized a musical accompaniment. Of course, the sound was relatively quiet and the scale of what is happening - not as a global.

This event is considered the birth of the festival Kazantip, which lasted 8 years. He died in 2000, and was replaced by the Republic of Kazantip. Originated new Orange Free State, which moved in the Crimean village of Popovka, where Kazantip now. Every year it attracts more and more freedom-loving people. And today in the Republic more than 100 000 people.

Virtual reality
