The Success and financial soundness of the company will depend on how well the goals of the organization. This process is determined by the conditions of their implementation on the nearest and long term period. Currently there are several classifications in accordance with different bases. Let's consider them in more detail in the article.

Classification of the purposes of the organization in the scope of activities as follows:

  • Private;
  • Local;
  • General;
  • Global.

The goals of the organization the objects can be:

  • The whole organization;
  • Objectives of the structural (s) unit (s);
  • Functional systems (economic, scientific-technical, technological,
    social, productive, administrative, purpose, records management, marketing);
  • Specific artists.

The Third classification is allocated in accordance with the functions of the office:

  • Analysis;

  • Assessments;
  • Control.

  • Awareness (imaginary and real);

Short-term goals of the organization. They must be achieved at the end of the production cycle and, as a rule, are realized during a calendar year. They are characterized by detail and specificity in the questions of when, what, who and how should perform.

Medium-term goals of the organization. They serve to correct short-term and long-term projects, usually developed as needed.

The Strategic objectives of the organization are achieved in five years or more. You need to keep in mind that leaders who focus their attention only on the tactical indicators, ignoring long-term plans, often suffer financial failure. For example, companies that have the ability to set low prices, relying on the strategic perspective of increasing market share, will be able to take over time a leading position.

In this system, it is not recommended to make assumptions that future financial performance must be better than the past. The fact that the strategic objectives of the organization include the analysis of existing prospects of the company, whose task – to figure out trends, risks, opportunities, emergencies, and so on.

But you need to keep in mind that long-term planning will cover the scope of activities in five, ten years or more. Moreover, this figure is relative. Because what is considered long term for one company, may be tactical for another.

If the wording is mandatory a clear and thoughtful definition of the content of the target, its temporal, quantitative, spatial characteristics; personal binding; hierarchy and rank goals; the possible means and ways of achieving them. In any case, the necessary consistency between short-term should be established as steps towards the long-term and the medium to be adjusted.

There is only one real law: the more specific and more clearly articulated the goal, the more real will be the feature of their strategy of achieving.
