The Syndrome of Wolff-Parkinson-white is considered a disease that often occurs in  young people. Patients with this diagnosis can experience greatly increased heart rate, and is known to be unstable rhythm leads to the threat of sudden stops  heart. The fact is that with Parkinson's, in addition to standard electrical impulses in the heart, there are additional, which causes tachycardia, i.e. an increase in the frequency of beating of the myocardium.

Remember that the disease may be symptomatic for a long time to manifest or be expressed in several short-lived attacks of rapid rhythm. That is why the diagnosis in the majority of cases, occurs suddenly, for example when passing routine medical examination. The main symptoms of Parkinson's disease include a burning sensation in the chest, dizziness up to fainting and shortness of breath. The heart beats so strongly that the pulse is felt in the throat.

To diagnose the disease of Parkinson's should pass a special test. This disease is easy to recognize in terms of the frequency of the cardiac muscle, as it becomes above normal. Typically, the syndrome of Wolff-Parkinson-white is diagnosed with tachycardia with a frequency of more than 230 beats per minute. Thus blood pressure must be either at the level of norms, or significantly below the defined healthy human limits. Specialist usually assigns a passage electrocardiogram and Holter monitor. These studies are able to indicate the location of additional electrical path. ECG reveals abnormal place, the so-called “Delta”, and Holter monitor involves conducting surveillance without interruption for work the muscles of the myocardium.

The Syndrome of Wolff-Parkinson-white is usually treated symptomatically, mainly drugs aimed at the normalization of the cardiovascular system. For example, assigned a "Amiodarone" or "Adenosine". If the medical measures have been unsuccessful, then the specialist is electrical cardioversion, or so-called shock therapy. At the same time, modern medicine increasingly uses a procedure known as catheter ablation. For its implementation, the specialist makes a small incision in the groin area in close proximity to the aorta. Through the main vein the catheter directly to the heart, at the end of a thin tube fixed radio transmitter that works on the frequency level that can destroy momentum. A fairly common method of surgery open heart, which you can use to overcome the syndrome of Wolff-Parkinson-white. But it is a serious procedure allowed only in case of necessity of operation for other reasons.

So, the most common method of combating Parkinson's syndrome is catheter ablation as it is done in 90% of cases. But do not forget that so  the same as any, even minor surgery, this procedure can cause many complications. For example, heart failure or sudden decompression, all this justified the prolonged tachycardia. In addition, some people have an allergic reaction to specific components of the drugs used in the treatment.

But the most terrible complication can be considered ventricular fibrillation, as it leads to shock. According to statistics, from total number of patients suffering from this type of complications, only 4% can not get out of this condition that leads to death. The most important time to see a doctor in order to avoid disease progression and development of complications.
