Chronic gastritis-an inflammatory disease of the mucous membranes,  accompanied by degenerative processes leading to secretory and motor insufficiency of the stomach. Causes (factors) that lead to the development of chronic gastritis, are of two groups: exogenous and endogenous.

Exogenous – those who entered from the external environment. These include: feeding disorders, chronic intoxication, mental stress, alcohol, Smoking, prolonged use of medication, especially antibiotics.

Endogenous causes – those that are directly in the body. For example, the hereditary factor, the presence of chronic focal infection, metabolic disorders and intestinal flora, chronic circulatory failure.

As a rule, chronic gastritis is classified according to two criteria: morphological and functional. Superficial, atrophic, erosive, hypertrophic, widespread, limited (antral and fundamental) – gastritis, which is conventionally combined into one group on morphological grounds. Functional treat gastritis with increased secretion and reduced and with normal acidity.

Chronic gastritis with low (secretion) acidity often develops in persons of Mature age. Patients feel heaviness in the abdomen mainly after eating and the feeling of bloating and fullness. Another feature of the form – this is a quick satiety and belching rotten egg. Pain, occur in humans, is aching in nature. Very often, besides the constant feeling of nausea, the patient vomiting occurs on an empty stomach. Loss of appetite and pain after eating lead to weight loss, it is not uncommon to have diarrhea. Since reduced secretion of the patient develops hypovitaminosis, changes in the appearance of: dry skin, bleeding gums, hair loss, dull and brittle nails.

Chronic gastritis with high acidity – this disease is typical for young age. A person experiencing paroxysmal pain immediately after he ate, and an hour or two in the epigastric region without any irradiation. In the period of exacerbation the patient has a sour belching, severe heartburn, vomiting of gastric contents. As a rule, the appetite is normal, but constipation. The main feature of the form – hungry and night pain, and the development of asthenic-neurotic syndrome (irritability, unstable mood, decreased performance, sleep disturbance). Chronic gastritis with high acidity can have a complication  it is a plague.

At the reception, the doctor will appoint treatment and will in detail tell about how to treat chronic gastritis. Depending on the severity of the disease treatment are outpatient or inpatient, and the mode remains normal. Great attention doctors recommend be given to nutrition. For maximum results it is advisable to use herbal medicine and physiotherapy.

With proper and adequate treatment three weeks later comes the stage of remission.
