In the USSR, many cars Gorky automobile plant has been to equip the fleets to various government agencies. One of the key customers were taxi fleets throughout the country. All models GAS, starting from M1 and ending 2410, were specially modified in the factory version for a taxi.

Part of cars for a taxi was equipped with a 85 HP engine ZMZ-4027.10, adapted to work at reduced gas. Start-up and warming-up was carried out on gasoline A93.
