SOE "Plant 410 civil aviation": the history, manufacture, address

The State company «Plant No. 410 civil aviation,” carries out refurbishment, maintenance, diagnostics and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft engines. Main production facilities are located in Kiev. Is a strategically important production for economic and military security of Ukraine.

Creating enterprise

The Plant 410 of civil aviation was formed on 1 July 1948 on the squares of Ukrainian control of the CAF, located in the Zhuliany airport. The responsibilities of the organization included the repair of engines of series M-116, ASH-62IR aircraft and b-2. Despite the problems with personnel and technological equipment on 21 October 1948 by the efforts of 25 employees of airebase was renovated and officially handed over to the Ukrainian Department of the CAF first rebuilt engine ASH-62IR No. 628-333.

A year Later the company employed more than 200 people. A plan was developed and staff training. The important thing was to improve the organization of production, purchase new equipment, devices and systems to enhance productivity. Developed and implemented new technologies that made it possible to combine the process of repairing aircraft in a single unit. Created a new division, build necessary capital facilities.

Expansion of production

The Launch of a series of piston aircraft Il-12 was the beginning of the second phase of activities of SE "Plant 410 civil aviation". With the new equipment and expand production facilities, improve material base since 1955, was organized the repair of Il-12. In 1959 was made after the flyby of the first aircraft Il-14.

The Plant in 60 years has started maintenance of gas turbine aircraft turboprop aircraft model An-24. Since then, he became a leading company in the repair of aircraft of Antonov. The team is gaining a reputation as a model of the repair enterprises of aviation industry of Ukraine.

80 years

The Development of modular overhaul of engine D-36 for models of the Yak-42, an-72, An-74 contributed to the further development of the enterprise. Since 1986, began planning a serial engine on the leased premises IN “Motorostroitel” in the city of Zaporozhye.

In 1988, the plant was given permission to begin mass overhaul of the engine on its own sites in Kiev, Povitroflotskyi Avenue. Soon D-36 became the main products of the plant. Parallel mastered the repair of the turbine generator unit AI-8 for heavy helicopters Mi-6 and Mi-10K.

Today

From 2008 to 2016, the plant was headed by S. M. Podraza. Twenty-two years of experience in the enterprise and leadership helped to maintain high standards of aircraft maintenance.

15 Jun 2015, according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the company became part of the state concern «Ukroboronprom”. From 16 June 2016 for the post of General Director appointed V. Gankevich. Factory address: Ukraine, Kiev, Povitroflotskyi Avenue, building 94.

Activities

After independence, fell sharply volumes of repair of the aircraft. The company remained afloat due to the expansion of the work item. The plant began to execute:

• All service aircraft models «Antonov»;
• Restoration and control works on the An-74, equipped with power unit D-36;
• Refurbishment of cabins (Combi version and VIP-class);
• Upgrades to the aircraft (installation of modern radio navigation equipment).

SOE “Plant No. 410 civil aviation,” introduced new technological equipment, allowing to carry out such complex processes, such as plasma and detonation spraying, laser treatment, painting of aircraft acrylic and polyurethane enamels. Our vision for the future cooperation with the international such aircraft building companies.

New technology

The plant has successfully used new equipment in the technological process of repair of aircraft and aircraft engines. Laser system used for cutting of structures of varying complexity from sheet materials: steel, Plexiglas, plywood with thickness up to 5 mm.

Detonation unit is designed for recovery of aeronautical engineering parts with high wear by the method of detonation pollination powder metal materials onto a prepared substrate. Coating thickness – to 0.002– 0.8 mm. the Size of recoverable items: the diameter of – 0.7 m, length – 1.5 m.

A Specialized unit is in the process of manufacturing high-pressure hoses with metal braid and an inner diameter of 4–12 mm used in hydraulic systems of various aircraft.
