In total in 1999 - 2000 he played for "CTU" of eleven matches, but different goal and failed.

Downgrading

After Returning home, Leonov started to play for semi-professional club «Spartak-Kavkaztransgaz” from city of Bountiful. Here he spent half of the season, having to play 10 matches in which he scored 10 goals. In the same year 2001 he moved to the club «Spartak-Telekom” (Shuya), for which he played 17 matches before the end of the football season.

In 2002, the year Leonov was in the team of FC «Svetogorets" (Svetogorsk). Here he played 26 games in which never scored goal.

Unfortunately, obtained in 1999, the injury didn't allow Sergei to play on the same professional level. Further football career Leonova took place in Amateur and semi-professional clubs. The midfielder played for such obscure teams as«PSG» (Gatchina town), «metallurg-TFZ" (Tikhvin town), “Victory” (Kronstadt) and many others.
