Vargashinskiy factory fire and special equipment (WSPA) is one of the pioneers in the production of fire engines in the USSR. Based on the capacity of the delights of the plant, evacuated in 1941 in Kurgan oblast. In different years the share of products of the company reached 30% of fire-fighting equipment produced in the country.

Description

In Russia there are more than ten machinery factories producing fire-fighting equipment. Company in Vargashi among them occupies the last place. In 2000-ies the share of WSPA on this segment of the market accounted for 30-35 %. The worldwide recession that followed the 2008 has led to falling demand and a gradual decline in production. Nevertheless, thanks to modern production lines, Vargashinsky plant is able to produce functional samples of fire trucks.

Historical background

Serial production of fire trucks in our country began after the completion of the production of the first Soviet trucks at the Moscow plant AMO (since renamed ZIL). Since 20 years, some plants engineering was shifted to the Assembly of fire-fighting equipment. In 1925, Miusskaya the plant began the manufacture of fire lines on the chassis of the AMO-f-15. In 1939 the production of fire vehicles PMG-1 on the basis of GAZ-AA began Honestly the factory. No sooner had the enterprise to gain momentum, as it is in 1941, had to be urgently evacuated to the Urals – in the item of Vargashi Kurgan region. In 1944, Vargashinsky factory fire and special equipment created on the basis of the evacuated workshops Novotorzhskaya plant, started production of trucks PMZ-7 on chassis ZIS-5V with a rear pump PN-1200, gas-jet vacuum machine and a tank of foam concentrate of 60 liters.

In 1947, the company shifted to the production of fire tankers PMZ-8 on chassis ZIS-5V, double row is equipped with a closed cabin for the combat calculation. Since 1956, Vargashinsky factory of special equipment focused on the production of fire trucks on the chassis of the UAZ and GAZ. In 1966, on the chassis of GAZ-53, it began production of the tank truck AC-30 (53) of the model 106. In 1981, WSPA mastered on the chassis of GAZ-66 manufacture fire tankers AC-30 (66) model 184.

In an urban environment is best proved fire trucks light and medium class. Their characteristics are determined by the size (respectively – with capacity) water tanks or proprioreceptive. Their task is to as quickly as possible to get to the fire and promptly start fighting, until you drive up a heavy tankers, or do not connect fire hoses to the hydrants. In this class, Vargashinsky factory fire and special equipment manufactures tanks with a capacity of from 1 to 4 m³.

Recently USPSA paid attention to the heavy tankers with a carrying capacity of 5-8 m³ of water. However, in fire departments of this class of technology the big distribution has not received. Bulky machine has a low speed (because of the possibility of hydraulic shock), difficulty maneuvering in the narrow yard driveways and city streets. Besides they are expensive. Heavy trucks are used as the object of fire-fighting vehicles designed to extinguish fires at airports, industrial plants, warehouses, power plants and other facilities. The plant produces tank volume 5,7 and 8 m³.

Варгашинский завод, ранее специализировавшийся на производстве автоцистерн исключительно на шасси УАЗ и ГАЗ, в настоящее время выпускает широкую гамму пожарных автоцистерн. Автомобили ФГУП ВЗППСО отличаются качеством специального оборудования. На заводе освоено производство 1-ступенчатых пожарных насосов НПЦ-40/100 моделей 68 и 236, шторных дверей, пожарных лестниц, ломов, ключей и крюков.

Кабины для спецтранспорта изготавливают двухрядные, четырёхдверные (на модели 4АВР — однорядная, двухдверная), сварные, термошумоизолированные. На моделях ЗВР и 8ВР двухрядная кабина производства ЗИЛ оснащена дополнительным отопителем для обогрева второго ряда. На машинах серий 4ВР, 11ВР и 25ВР двухрядные кабины собственного изготовления с применением секций кабин автомобилей ГАЗ и «Урал», которые представляют собой цельнометаллическую конструкцию панельного типа, жёстко соединенную с кабиной водителя. На автоцистернах на шасси КамАЗ кабина боевого расчета отдельная от кабины водителя шарнирно установлена на раме автомобиля в передней части пожарной надстройки.

Важным элементом является пожарный насос. В качестве основного используется центробежный 1-ступенчатый насос НПЦ-40/100 консольного типа с номинальной подачей жидкости 40 л/с, напором 100 м.

По заказу могут быть установлены:

• насос FP 2500 с подачей 40 л/с;
• лафетный ствол СМ-15В с электрическим управлением джойстиком из кабины;
• выдвижная осветительная мачта с пневмоприводом;
• обрезиненные задвижки системы Butterfly фирмы Sides (Франция) и прочее дополнительное оборудование.

Противопожарная техника

ВЗППСО регулярно осваивает новый и совершенствует старый модельный ряд спецтехники. Продукция завода включает:

• Автоцистерны пожарные всех классов, базирующиеся на шасси "Урал", "Ивеко", ГАЗ, КамАЗ, ЗИЛ.
• Различные типы автомобилей: высотных, насосно-рукавных, штабных, аэродромных, СПЭКЛ, для порошкового тушения, дымоудаления, первой помощи, оповещения и связи, поддержания правопорядка.
• Лесохозяйственные машины.
• Насосные пожарные станции.
• Автогидроподъёмники.

Также Варгашинский завод противопожарного и специального оборудования осуществляет ремонт пожарных насосов, цистерн, водопенных коммуникаций, трансмиссий, кабин и пожарных надстроек. Также здесь помогут нанести гальваническое покрытие, перекрасить кузов.

Перспективы

После приостановки производства ВЗППСО оказался на грани банкротства. Летом 2016 года 100 % акций приобрёл бизнесмен Владимир Воронянский и погасил большую часть долгов. Уже осенью фирма приступила к выполнению заказа на 18 спецмашин. Несколько автоцистерн тяжёлого класса для аэропортов приобрёл Казахстан. Большие надежды возлагаются на госконтракт на пожарную технику, предназначенную для обслуживания мирового футбольного первенства в 2018 году.

Сегодня на Варгашинском заводе трудятся порядка 350 человек. От работы предприятия зависит благополучие жителей городского посёлка Варгаши.
